Your everyday work could introduce a student to a career they have never considered. STARBASE Robins is seeking Career Guide volunteers for the 2026-2027 school year to help fifth-grade students connect science, technology, engineering, and mathematics with the world of work.
What does a Career Guide do?
Career Guides share their professional experiences, explain how they use STEM, and answer students’ questions about their work. When possible, volunteers are encouraged to bring a tool, piece of equipment, or another item that makes their career easier to understand.
A small commitment with a clear purpose
The current volunteer invitation asks participants to plan for a one-hour commitment. Presentations typically take place on Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to noon. Please confirm the date, arrival time, and presentation details with the STARBASE Robins team when arranging your visit.
