STARBASE 5th Grade Program

The STARBASE ROBINS 5th Grade program is designed to reach underrepresented and underserved students in Georgia. It strives to pique students’ interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). We provide students with a unique STEM curricula that includes hands-on activities in Physics, Chemistry, Technological Advances, Engineering, and Mathematical Operations.  Besides the teaching of these content areas, STARBASE ROBINS hopes to develop students’ skills of teamwork, communication, critical thinking and problem solving.

Students in the fifth grade attend STARBASE from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., one day a week, for five consecutive weeks with their classroom teacher. Supplementary materials are provided to the school for the classroom teachers to reinforce and expand the skills learned at STARBASE ROBINS.
