The STARBASE Robins program is designed to reach underrepresented and underserved students in Georgia. It strives to provide students with a unique curricula of goal-seeting skills, computer simulation, and hands-on activities in science, math, teamwork, communication, and problem solving. Students in the fifth grade attend STARBASE from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., one day a week, for five consecutive weeks with their classroom teacher. Supplementary materials are provided to the school for the classroom teachers to reinforce and expand the skills learned at STARBASE Robins. During their five days at STARBASE Robins Academy students study:
Important features of STARBASE Robins are the unique opportunities available through the Museum of Aviation. Aircraft and exhibits are incorporated into lessons based on the real world. STARBASE Robins also offers various Courses & Academies for students and teachers
